Day #4: My Body

  • Review of Day 3
  • Read Book: My Five Senses By Aliki
  • Sing song: “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”
  • Pass out papers to color/cut/paste into flip book
    • Have the students fill in the blanks
    • Have the students color the paper doll to represent themselves
  • Flip BookWe will chart heights on the wall to show differences and use it to show their growth throughout the year
    • Have students paste in dolls
    • Have students paste in completed sentences
    • Have students color in the flaps that are labeled with the different senses: what they can see, touch, hear, smell, and taste (pre-made flaps)
  • For the student who finish quickly, they are able to use the computers to explore the Starfall Website.
